UNILAG ADMISSION INTO BUSINESS STUDIES and ECONOMICS EDUCATION
This is a notice to prospective students into the University of Lagos and 2014/2015 UTME candidates in particular that the two programmes (Business Studies and Economics Education) that were not advertised in the 2014/2015 UTME brochure are courses accredited by the National Universities Commission (N.U.C) since 2011. These programmes are full-time programmes leading to the award of B.Sc. Ed (Hons.) Business Studies and B.Sc.Ed (Hon.) Economics. Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates who made University of Lagos their first choice in the 2014/2015 UTME.
The 2014 UNILAG Admission requirements for both are stated below:
O’LEVEL SUBJECTS: Five O’level Credit passes at one sitting including: English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two other subjects from Arts or Social Sciences
UTME SUBJECTS: English Language, Mathematics, Economics and one other subject from Literature in English, History, Government, Geography, Igbo/Yoruba and French
The duration of Business Studies and Economics Education programmes is four years.
Interested candidates who wish to apply for these courses during the 2014 UNILAG Admissions should apply directly to the University of Lagos and download the form in duplicate from the University Lagos website:www.unilag.edu.ng. The form with candidates’ photocopies of UTME and O’Level result should be completed and submitted online. Via @ReporterTimes
